Cinderella: Youth Edition follows kind-hearted Ella, who after her father’s death, is forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. Yet, with the help of her fairy godmother, she just may be able to achieve the better life she’s always wished for!

About the Production

Cinderella: Youth Edition is the culmination of The Theatre Lab’s Musical Theatre Camp for Preteens, a four-week intensive summer camp designed for rising 7th and 8th graders. Campers hone their performance skills through workshops on acting, singing, and dance led by experienced teaching artists. Along the way, participants also explore costume design, set building, and prop design. The camp emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and self-expression, offering a supportive environment where every camper’s unique talents shine.
