Arts Midwest Awards $30,000 Grant to the AICA

We are thrilled to share that the Arts Institute for Creative Advancement (AICA) has received a generous $30,000 grant through Shakespeare in American Communities, a theater program of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in partnership with Arts Midwest. This grant will directly support the AICA’s programming for young adults who have encountered obstacles to livable wage employment, providing them with paid apprenticeships to become early-career technical theater professionals. We are deeply grateful to Arts Midwest and the NEA for their continued support.

See AICA in action this week at Macbeth—our talented apprentices are responsible for just about every element of behind-the-scenes magic you’ll see on stage!
