About the Performer
Bryanda Minix, originally from Houston, TX, is an actor, director, playwright, and teaching artist based in Washington, DC. She is a 2016 alum of The Theatre Lab’s Honors Conservatory. Locally, she has worked with NextStop Theatre, 1st Stage, Constellation Theatre, Anacostia Playhouse, Mosaic Theater Company, and Keegan Theatre. Her regional work includes Theater Resources Unlimited (New York) and Honor Roll! in association with the African American Policy Forum’s #SayHerName campaign. Bryanda considers herself a professional conversation starter, connector, cultivator of hope, and fierce advocate for removing barriers to opportunity.
Bryanda supports The Theatre Lab’s Dramathon because “having access to quality arts education shouldn’t be determined by how much a student’s parent or guardian earns. The Send a Kid to Theatre Camp campaign makes it possible for students from diverse backgrounds and all socioeconomic levels to gain the benefits a great theater education can provide.”

About the Dramathon
The Dramathon is DC’s exhilarating, one-of-a-kind theatrical extravaganza, bringing together some of DC’s most acclaimed actors, directors, and playwrights for a one-night-only live show of world-premiere short plays.
Part theatrical showcase, part fundraising challenge, Dramathon performers participate in great theatre for a great cause. All funds from the event benefit The Theatre Lab’s Send a Kid to Camp initiative, which provides need-based scholarships to children and teens for The Theatre Lab’s renowned summer programs.
