Tiz Rome

Tiz began their time at The Theatre Lab as a student in both the Musical Theatre Institute for Teens and the Summer Acting Institute, where they were given tools, lessons, and opportunities that cemented their passion for performance art. From 2017-2021, Tiz took what they learned off to Hampshire College, where they piloted their undergraduate degree with a focus in collaborative performance making and artist-centered theatre, affirming the holistic value they always saw in the arts. Despite their off-stage devotion to their classmates' success and the time they served as the college's Theatre Board Facilitator, Tiz bid Hampshire farewell with their senior thesis performance as Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. A new graduate and artist making moves, Tiz is absolutely thrilled to give back to The Theatre Lab community, where they can now share the joy that theatre-making offers with this next generation of students.
