Rachel recently joined The Theatre Lab full-time as the Youth Programs Administrator and Operations Associate, drawing on eight years of experience with the organization – four as a student and four as a teaching artist. Her time at The Theatre Lab has shaped her passion for educational storytelling, using creativity as a developmental outlet for children. Rachel graduated from American University in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Media Arts and a minor in Business & Entertainment. During her studies, she discovered a love for scriptwriting, earning the American University Visions Award for Best Original Series Pilot Script. She has also written for Feminist Fairytales, an audio drama podcast, crafting an episode specifically for young audiences. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, thrifting, exploring coffee shops, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
