Julie Lloyd

Julie is a 2018 graduate of the Honors Acting Conservatory at the Theatre Lab and a frequent performer and music director around the DC area. In 2020, she co-founded Encore Theater Company in Takoma Park and music directed its inaugural production of Next to Normal. As an actor, favorite roles have included Elizabeth in If/Then, Mrs. Daldry in In the Next Room, and the title role in Violet. Julie is also an accomplished singer/songwriter and pianist. During her career as a recording artist, she has released two studio albums, toured around the country, and has had her original music featured on MTV and VH1. When not performing, Julie is a strategy and communications consultant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in public relations.
