Jill Roos

Jill Roos has worked in various DC schools including the Lab School of Washington and recently revived the musical theatre program at Hardy Middle School. She was the director of the musicals and creator of the Shakespeare Festival at Alice Deal Middle School and directed at Wilson High School from 2008-2017. Recent productions include the award-winning Hair, Everybody, Hairspray Jr, Metamorphoses, James and the Giant Peach, Into the Woods, West Side Story, Columbinus and Hamlet. She has taught theater at both Martha’s Table and the River School. Jill has created countless pieces of devised work in and out of classroom including The March at Emerson College.
