Life Stories/Free Minds Performance – “Something We Can Build On”
Join The Theatre Lab Life Stories Program and Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop on Tuesday, April 15, at 7:00 PM for an evening of powerful original theatre and storytelling!
Together, the ensemble will present their live performance, Something We Can Build On, for one night only. Admission is free, but RSVP is required to attend, as we expect this event to reach capacity.
Free Minds is a nonprofit that uses the transformative power of books, writing, and peacebuilding to create a community of support with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and adults. Over the course of this 10-week workshop, Free Minds members have learned theatre skills from Theatre Lab Life Stories teaching artists and created their own original dramatic works based on their real-life experiences.
