Whether you’re performing on stage or giving a speech to a room, this class is great for anyone who would like to do more with their voice. Students will learn fundamental skills of body awareness, vocal production, and stress reduction. Particular attention will be paid to posture, breathing, basic ideas for healthful vocal production, and the mind-body connection.

Unless otherwise indicated below, there are no formal prerequisites for this class—students of all experience levels are welcome! However, if you have no prior acting experience, we suggest taking Intro to Acting and/or Beginning Scene Study to introduce you to core techniques and help you build confidence in the fundamentals of acting.
