An innovative, acting-based approach to powerful public speaking, from commanding a room to leaving a lasting impression.This course guides participants through a dynamic progression of physical, vocal and psychological exercises used by professional performers, all designed to promote spoken communication. Whether you’re addressing a boardroom, a classroom, or a packed auditorium, this course is for anyone who wants to know what it takes to please a crowd.

Classes are intentionally kept small to ensure every person receives extensive personalized feedback from instructors and meaningful collaboration with other students. Recent Credits: Arena Stage (Dave, Vanya/Spike, My Fair Lady, Ann), The Humans (Olney Theatre Center), Copenhagen (Theatre J), Romeo and Juliet (Folger Theatre), Outside Mullingar (Fusion Theatre Company), Gypsy (Signature Theatre). Other Venues: Kennedy Center, Shakespeare Theatre, Olney Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, Round House Theatre, Rep Stage, two national tours. Awards: Helen Hayes (Les Miserables, Side Show - Signature Theatre). Barrymore Award (The Light in the Piazza - Philadelphia Theatre Company).
