6th-8th Grade: Actor’s Toolbox: Greek Mythology

Step into the world of Greek mythology and build your acting skills along the way! In this creative, hands-on class, students will explore iconic gods, heroes, monsters, and myths while developing essential tools for the stage, including character development, physicality, voice, improvisation, and ensemble work. The class will culminate in a final sharing where students bring their own original scenes and interpretations of Greek mythology to life.

• Time: Sundays (12:00 PM-2:00 PM)
• Dates: September 27; October 4, 11, 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15 (8 weeks)
• Location: The VIVA School Satellite Campus (1923 Vermont Ave NW, Suite T002)

Classes are kept small to ensure every child receives extensive individual attention from instructors and meaningful socialization with other students. At The Theatre Lab, we believe that theatre education should be accessible to all. We strive to offer as much need-based financial aid as possible. If attending our courses at full price would be difficult for you, we encourage you to apply for assistance here.

Theatre Lab members receive a 10% discount off of school year class tuition, automatically applied at checkout. Annual memberships cost only $70 per year and also include discounted tickets to all Theatre Lab performances. Membership discounts do not apply to summer or spring break camps tuition.
