Financial Aid

At The Theatre Lab, we believe that a quality theatre education should never be out of reach. That’s why we award more than $100,000 in scholarships and financial aid to students each year.

If you would like to participate in a Theatre Lab program but lack the financial means, please complete the appropriate online form below.

School-Year Youth Classes: Financial Aid

Summer Kids’ Camps (entering Grades 1-8): Financial Aid

Summer Teen Programs (ages 13-19): Financial Aid
The Theatre Lab offers need-based work-study and full and partial scholarships for both the Summer Acting Institute for Teens and the Musical Theatre Institute for Teens. Apply Here as part of the Teen Institute Application Form.

Adult Classes: Financial Aid

Work-study grants and scholarships are available for adult classes at The Theatre Lab. Work-study must be completed before the beginning of the class to which the tuition reduction will be applied.

Initial scholarship applications are accepted only for beginning level acting courses; once those courses are successfully completed, students may apply for scholarships to higher level courses. Financial aid applications must be submitted at least three weeks before the start date of the class you intend to take. Scholarships funds will be distributed as available. Completion of application does not guarantee a scholarship award. Apply Here
