A Typical Day at Summer Camp - The Theatre Lab

A Typical Day at Summer Camp

Recognized by The President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities as one of the 50 “top arts and humanities-based programs in the country serving youth outside of school hours,” our youth programs are about more than just developing acting skills.

At The Theatre Lab’s summer camps, every day follows a thoughtful, structured schedule that balances fun, creativity, and skill-building. Campers are guided by experienced teaching artists through a mix of theatre training, ensemble-building, outdoor play, and mindful reflection—ensuring both artistic growth and a supportive camp environment. With clear routines and attentive supervision, families can feel confident knowing their children are engaged, safe, and thriving throughout the day. Below is a look at a typical camp schedule.
