Learn how to make the most of the music of America’s foremost theatrical composer: Stephen Sondheim. The ability to sing Sondheim’s fiendishly difficult music (and the music of many other composers who follow in his footsteps) is prerequisite for success in today’s musical theatre. Issues explored will include lyric interpretation, situational analysis, rhythm, phrasing, vocal production, and all aspects of singing and acting the Sondheim repertoire. For performers with musical theatre experience.
