This advanced acting course provides an other-focused, values-driven, text-based entry into the emotional and intellectual undercurrent driving characters to play actively and impact their scene partners emotionally. Students will learn and apply a technique that was taught by Earle Gister for many years at the Yale School of Drama, using scenes from contemporary plays as their material.
