DRAMATHON 2026
Martin Pell
About the Performer
Martin is a lifelong performer who has spent decades entertaining audiences on stages from coast to coast. While his theatrical career technically peaked in third grade as Huckleberry Finn in Mississippi Melody, those early stage ambitions eventually shifted toward a lifelong career in music. After living in New Jersey for a year after college, and subsequently spending 12 years in the San Francisco music scene, he returned to his Silver Spring roots 30 years ago and has since become a fixture in DC’s performing arts community. By day, he owns and operates On the Go! Mobile Bicycle Services here in the DMV, but his heart remains on the stage. After having a blast in last year’s Dramathon, he is thrilled to return for a second year. As the father of a former Theatre Lab summer student, he is proud to raise scholarship funds for the next generation of DC artists.

About the Dramathon
The Dramathon is DC’s exhilarating, one-of-a-kind theatrical extravaganza, bringing together some of DC’s most acclaimed actors, directors, and playwrights for a one-night-only live show of world-premiere short plays.
Part theatrical showcase, part fundraising challenge, Dramathon performers participate in great theatre for a great cause. All funds from the event benefit The Theatre Lab’s Send a Kid to Camp initiative, which provides need-based scholarships to children and teens for The Theatre Lab’s renowned summer programs.
