About the Performer
I’m Mary, mom of 5, novelist, and black belt. The Theatre Lab sponsored my Voice Acting Class with the esteemed Wes Johnson, and I’d like to give back. Over the course of my acting career, I’ve been in musicals, taken a few theatre classes in college, studied Shakespeare, writing, and literature. I always saw acting as an outlet of absolute fun, but too scary to pursue. After taking the voice acting class, I’ve been encouraged to let go of my “naysayer” and take acting more seriously (while still, of course, having fun).

About the Dramathon
The Dramathon is DC’s exhilarating, one-of-a-kind theatrical extravaganza, bringing together some of DC’s most acclaimed actors, directors, and playwrights for a one-night-only live show of world-premiere short plays.
Part theatrical showcase, part fundraising challenge, Dramathon performers participate in great theatre for a great cause. All funds from the event benefit The Theatre Lab’s Send a Kid to Camp initiative, which provides need-based scholarships to children and teens for The Theatre Lab’s renowned summer programs.
