Few musicals have left a mark on Broadway quite like the legendary Chicago—and it’s coming to Atlas Performing Arts Center to give DC the old razzle dazzle!
Roxie Hart is a chorus girl with stars in her eyes and blood on her hands, navigating the sultry, seedy world of 1920s Chicago, where scandal and celebrity are two sides of the same coin. With the help of seasoned showstopper Velma Kelly and the silver-tongued lawyer Billy Flynn, Roxie learns that, in this city, the arm of justice bends to whoever can give the greatest performance.
Razor-sharp and darkly clever, Chicago: Teen Edition breathes new energy into John Kander and Fred Ebb’s unforgettable score and Bob Fosse’s iconic choreography, featuring classic songs like “Cell Block Tango,” “Hot Honey Rag,” and “All That Jazz.”
