Where Are They Now? 2025 Update

We’re in the process of revamping our Where Are They Now listserv—our dedicated source for alumni news. While we make these improvements, we encourage you to continue sharing your upcoming performances and projects through this Jotform link so we can feature your work. In the meantime, check out some of the exciting recent updates from our incredible alumni below!

Honors alumni: Mary Rodrigues will play Sandra Wilkinson (Florence Colleymoore) in The Arlington Players‘ The Play That Goes Wrong, February 1-16. Elgin Martin will play The Founding Father in Perisphere Theater’s The America Play, until February 15.

Teen alumni: Sophia Manicone made her Broadway debut as Iola Stover in the 2023 Tony Award-winning revival of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry’s Parade. Sophia has now joined the 2025 National Tour of Parade and will reprise the role of Iola Stover and understudy the role of Mary Phagan, and Ben Cherington will play Officer Ivey and understudy Leo Frank and Hugh Dorsey.

Faculty: Madeleine Regina joins the inaugural cohort of 1st Stage’s newly launched program, The Directors’ Residency and Commission. Rachel Lipetz wrote an episode for Feminist Fairytales, a podcast created by Madeleine Regina, available to stream this summer.
