Join us for an epic adventure into Greek mythology! In this exciting class, students will collectively explore, adapt, and perform an ancient Greek myth. In the first weeks of the class, they’ll dive into the world of gods, heroes, and mythical creatures, learning about the myth’s storyline, characters, and timeless themes. Together, they’ll reimagine and adapt the myth to fit their creative vision, adding fresh twists and inventive interpretations. In the later weeks, the class will focus on bringing their adaptation to life. Students will rehearse their unique version of the myth, preparing as an ensemble for their grand final performance. This class empowers young actors to become the storytellers of their very own Greek epic, blending tradition with imagination. Due to the collaborative nature of this class and the commitment required to produce a performance, attendance is essential. Please ensure availability for the scheduled dates, and get ready for a journey worthy of the gods!
