Our annual Dramathon fundraiser is one of our most beloved, fun, and exhilarating nights of the year! Each year, we bring together DC’s best actors, directors, playwrights, and theatre enthusiasts for a one-night-only of unforgettable performances, heartfelt community, and the kind of joyful, chaotic goodness that only live theatre can deliver. Expect topical, provocative, and hilarious original works—but most of all, expect the unexpected.
The Dramathon helps support our Send a Kid to Camp campaign. In 2025, we awarded over $165,000 in scholarships to young children attending our nationally recognized summer theatre camps. Your support of the Dramathon helps us make an even bigger impact this year.
Here’s how it works: Think of it like a walk-a-thon, but instead of walking, participants “walk the boards” with some of DC’s biggest stars. No memorization required; it’s all script-in-hand. Supporters can donate to their favorite Dramathon performers ahead of the event and help The Theatre Lab continue to transform lives through theatre education.
