Legendary voice actor Wes Johnson, the voice behind countless characters in The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Starfield franchises, guides students through an exploration of character development, designed to help you stretch your abilities and bring the acting to voice acting. Immerse yourself in new worlds every week, build the skills required for success in the industry, and learn the unique demands of voice acting for video games.

Classes are intentionally kept small to ensure every person receives extensive personalized feedback from instructors and meaningful collaboration with other students. No formal prerequisites are necessary. Students who take this class typically have some background experience in acting, voice acting, and/or have taken one of the following classes at The Theatre Lab:
* Note: For new students with no prior acting experience, we recommend starting with Intro to Acting, and then taking Beginning Scene Study, for our essential training in the basics of acting.

Wes Johnson
Wes Johnson is a professional voiceover artist, actor, comedian, and writer. He serves as The Arena Voice of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, the Voice of NHRA racing, and can be heard voice acting in numerous video game series including Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, and Star Trek, among others. Wes was the series announcer for America’s Most Wanted, and has national acting credits in film and television, including VEEP, Homicide: Life on the Streets and John Waters’ A Dirty Shame.
