Bryanda Minix
This class is a Pay-What-You-Can, community-based offering presented by The Theatre Lab’s Life Stories® program.
Welcome to the world of the Emotion Detectives, where feelings are clues and imagination leads the way! This fun, engaging class uses acting and storytelling to help young children explore the wonderful, sometimes tricky, world of emotions. Each week, students become detectives on a mission to identify, name, and express feelings like happy, sad, and brave through role-playing and dramatic movement. We will practice empathy, learn healthy ways to express big feelings, and build confidence by creating our own helpful “Detective Persona.” Join us to use the power of creative play to unlock emotional intelligence and communication skills in a safe, imaginative space.
All students must be fully daytime potty-trained by the start of the class.
Dates: March 1, March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 12, 19, 26, May 3
No Class: Sunday, April 5
Location: The VIVA School Satellite Campus (1923 Vermont Ave NW, Suite T002)
6-12 Students
* Note: Small class sizes are a fundamental part of our learning philosophy at The Theatre Lab. Classes are intentionally kept small to ensure every child receives extensive individual attention from instructors and meaningful socialization with other students. If a class is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist, and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.
To remove barriers to access, tuition for Creative Play is offered on a Pay-What-You-Can basis as a part of The Theatre Lab’s Life Stories® program.
We encourage all parents to review our Youth Class Policies prior to enrolling.
