Join The Theatre Lab Life Stories Program on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 PM as the Parents of Life Pieces To Masterpieces (LPTM) present their debut performance of Soul Bag Stories: Parenthood Edition. Get ready for an evening of the untold stories and often overlooked sides of parenthood. What pieces from their life have shaped and molded them into the parents they have become today?
LPTM is a nonprofit that prepares Black and Brown boys and young men from Washington DC’s Wards 7 & 8 to positively transform their lives and communities, with character development, leadership, artistic expression, and “Each One Teach One” mentoring at its core.
Don’t miss the culmination of all their hard work. Over the course of this 12-week workshop, the Parents of LPTM have learned theatre skills from Theatre Lab Life Stories teaching artists and created their own original dramatic works based on their unique parenting experiences.
