Calling all junior detectives and curious minds! In this thrilling class, students will work together to create and perform an original mystery play. In the first weeks of class, they’ll explore the classic elements of a great whodunit—suspicious characters, unexpected twists, and clever clues. As a group, they’ll dream up their own suspense-filled storyline, building a world of intrigue, secrets, and surprises.

In the later weeks, the class will focus on rehearsing their original mystery, bringing it to life through bold characters, imaginative staging, and ensemble collaboration. Whether it’s a missing treasure, a puzzling disappearance, or a case of mistaken identity, this class gives young actors the chance to become both storytellers and sleuths. Due to the collaborative nature of this class and the commitment required to produce a performance, attendance is essential. Please ensure availability for the scheduled dates—and prepare for a performance full of suspense, excitement, and theatrical mystery!
