Overview
Ensemble Essentials is designed for young performers who want to master the dynamic art of musical theatre group numbers. We shift the focus from solo work to the collaborative skills needed to be an indispensable “Company” member. Students will intensively rehearse 1-2 high-energy ensemble pieces from Broadway, focusing on synchronized choreography, stage picture creation, and character development within a crowd. Key technical skills covered include vocal blending, proper stage etiquette, and reacting truthfully to fellow performers. This class is essential for building confidence and developing the integrated skills required for successful musical theatre performance. The session will conclude with a final showing of the rehearsed group numbers.
Due to the performance nature of this class, attendance is crucial. Please make sure your child is available for all dates listed below.
