| Proud graduate of the Honors Acting Conservatory, Alison Bauer is a professional actor on stage and screen. In her previous life, she was an artist hiding in an elementary school classroom. Although her students appreciated her dramatic flair and were known to applaud her dramatic interpretation of the creation of fossil fuels, Alison wanted more. Enter the year long intensive Honors program. After completing the program, Alison continued to teach while performing on local stages including DC Fringe and Source Festival. She is now retired from Fairfax, VA Public Schools and building her acting career while making films with her team from Women in Film and Video (WIFV). Alison most recently performed in Breakout Theatre’s production of ‘Night Mother with fellow Honors grad, Tegan Cohen. Theatre Lab holds a sweet spot in her heart and given the time and treasure, she supports so others may also be transformed. |
