Age Groups

Spring break campers are divided into 2 groups: 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade. Placement is based on the student’s current grade level for the given school year.

At The Theatre Lab, our youth programs are divided into groups based on grade, regardless of theatre experience. Camp is a very social experience, and we want to make sure they are with a developmentally appropriate group. We keep our classes small, and group age ranges narrow, in order to provide both a challenging, engaging, and age-appropriate curriculum.

Curriculum

Dive into the world of theatre by exploring the actor’s tools—body, voice, mind, and imagination—through engaging and fun activities. As part of a vibrant ensemble, students will work together to craft characters, scenes, and stories, discovering innovative ways to express themselves. Whether students are stepping onto the stage for the first time or consider it their second home, this camp caters to all levels of experience. Students will have the opportunity to unleash their artistic flair through art projects, group games, and outdoor activities (weather permitting).
