Kathryn O’Sullivan is a playwright, fiction author, filmmaker, and theatre educator. Her short plays and stories have been published in numerous anthologies. She is the author of several mystery novels and co-author of a science fiction thriller which won the 2023 IPPY Bronze Medal Award for Science Fiction. Film credits include the award-winning documentary, Bicentennial Bonsai: Emissaries of Peace (May 2024 broadcast premiere, Maryland Public Television), the crime feature, A Savage Nature, and the Western web series, Thurston. She earned her MFA in playwriting from Carnegie Mellon University.
