| Originally from Chicago, Nessa Amherst is an actor and writer who’s done theatre (both in-person and virtual!) with organizations based in Washington, DC, Maryland, South Carolina, and NYC. Some of the companies she’s worked with include National Queer Theatre & the Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, 1st Stage, Transformation Theatre, and Barefoot Shakespeare Company. One reason Ms. Amherst is supporting The Theatre Lab is because of how supportive and encouraging everyone is in the rehearsal and performance space, and was literally evident when she and her fellow classmates performed during the pandemic a fun production of As You Like It (all masked and socially distant, of course!). |
