Named by Backstage as one of the top acting programs in Washington DC, we offer top-tier training in acting, musical theatre, film and television, voiceover, playwriting, directing, and more—all taught by experienced professionals in a dynamic, supportive environment. Classes are designed to fit all skills, experience levels, and schedules. Each session features a mix of beginner, advanced, in-person, online, weeknight, and weekend classes. Our distinguished faculty is comprised of experienced, award-winning professional artists who perform, write, or direct in theatre, film, TV, and audio recording across the entire DMV area.

Theatre Lab productions have played to sold-out houses and rave critical reviews. Past shows have included Hadestown: Teen Edition, The SpongeBob Musical, Shakespeare in Love, Man of La Mancha, Footloose, Titanic, Carrie, Radium Girls, As You Like It, and more. 

*Please Note: Tuition discount does not apply to the Honors Acting Conservatory, Anyone Can Act workshop, Spring Break Youth Camp, Summer Youth Camps, or private 1-on-1 coaching. 

Complimentary Memberships

Current Actors’ Center members, AEA and SAG/AFTRA members, veterans, and seniors over the age of 60 receive a complimentary Theatre Lab annual membership! Please email contact@theatrelab.org to claim your membership if this applies to you.
