God of Carnage

June 22 - June 24

7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The Theatre Lab is excited to announce its first professional production, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza. The show will feature four graduates of The Theatre Lab's Honors Acting Conservatory--Caroline Adams, Chuck O'Toole, Mary Rodrigues, and Aron Spellane--appearing as members of the professional acting community and no longer as students.

What starts as a civilized discussion quickly devolves into chaos and hostility after two sets of parents meet to discuss an incident involving their children. God of Carnage" has been praised for its sharp wit, dark humor, and biting social commentary. It won numerous awards, including the Tony Award for Best Play in 2009. The play's exploration of human behavior, societal expectations, and the disintegration of civility has made it a thought-provoking and popular work in contemporary theater.
