Creating a Musical Role: As You Like It

The Theatre Lab's Creating a Musical Role class of 2023 presents As You Like It! Named one of The New York Times' Best Shows of 2017, As You Like It is a magical tale of friends, family, feuds, and lovers in disguise. The story unfolds as a family, forced out of their home, escapes to the Forest of Arden, an immersive place of transformation. This diverse, all-ages ensemble will take you on an adventure, exploring themes of community, acceptance, and refuge underneath the stars.

Come and see Shaina Taub’s fun and inventive take on the Shakespeare original with a contemporary score blending rock, pop, and country. Be a part of this unique journey with our students, some of whom are heading to the stage for their first-ever performance!
