Staged Reading: Columbinus

October 18

7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us for three evenings of performances from the Acting in a Professional Production class.

The Theatre Lab's Acting in a Professional Production Fall Reading Series presents a staged reading of Columbinus, the award-winning play written by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli. Sparked by the April 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, the play addresses issues of social pressure, isolation, and hostility in high schools.
Watch three free staged readings with professional directors and actors as part of a core company of students playing substantial roles.

Plays include:

  • (10/18) - Columbinus by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli
  • (10/25) - Arab-Israeli Cookbook by Robin Soans
  • (11/1) - Let me Down Easy by Anna Deavere Smith
Performances take place on Tuesdays at 7:30pm until November 1 at The Theatre Lab, 900 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC in Undercroft Theatre. Free and open to the public.
