Voice Acting for Teens (13-19 yrs)



What better time to harness the power of your own voice? Learn how to create voice-overs for animated characters, commercials, narration, video games, and much more. This course is taught by prolific voice and film actor Wes Johnson, who has provided voices for the Fallout and Star Trek video games series, Phineas and Ferb, and is the PA Announcer for the Washington Capitals, to name just a few.

Online Class: Our fall youth semester will take place entirely online via Zoom. Classes require live participation at the scheduled times using your own device. Zoom is most effective when used on a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Students using a cellphone to access class are likely to experience reduced functionality that may limit their ability to participate fully in class. Please review the technical requirements necessary to take part in an online class before enrolling. If these requirements pose any difficulties for you, please let us know.

Wes Johnson is a professional voiceover artist, actor, comedian, and writer. Wes serves as The Voice of the Capitals, as the announcer of Washington Capitals home hockey games, and can be heard voice acting in video games including Fallout 4, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Star Trek: Legacy, Conquest, among others.
