Creating a Role - Around the World in 80 Days Performances

The Theatre Lab's Creating a Role students perform in four public performances of Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne, adapted by Laura Eason. Directed by Randy Baker with acting coach Deidra LaWan Starnes.

The show is a wildly theatrical version of the classic with sledge rides, elephant chases, and surprising relevance to the refugee crises facing the world today. 

Performances will take place from April 4th through April 6th. Evening Performances on April 4, 5, and 6 at 7:30pm and a Matinee Performance on April 6 at 2pm. All performances will be held in our downtown home (733 8th St NW).

Tickets are $15. Discounts available for adults 60+, students with valid ID, and Theatre Lab members. Be prepared to show your ID/member card at the box office. Anyone without supporting documentation (valid student ID, member card, or ID showing 60+ age) will be required to pay the additional $5 for a full-price ticket.
